BIO

Elisa is an actor, musician, and teacher living in Brooklyn. She graduated early from NYU Tisch in order to make her Broadway debut in the 2005 revival of Sweeney Todd, directed by John Doyle and starring Patti LuPone. Since then she has had the pleasure of working with John on two other projects: Ten Cents A Dance (at the McCarter Theatre) and August Rush (a new musical that is being workshopped in Fall 2014). She has also performed at The Public Theatre, NYMF, and Fringe NYC.

54 BELOW, Broadway’s Supper Club, will present Anessa Marie in “A First Glimpse of Light” on October 30, 2022 at 9:30pm. Anessa Marie presents an evening of music from “A First Glimpse of Light,” a semi-autobiographical new musical telling the story of a 32-year-old trans actress as she prepares for gender confirmation surgery in New York City.

Elisa Winter Announces Two Upcoming Concerts

Elisa Winter (Sweeney Todd, Ten Cents A Dance, August Rush) will present shows at Littlefield on Friday, June 17: 'The Subconscious', an interactive, rock/pop performance where the band plays different parts of her personality, and 'Summer & Smoke', her upcoming grunge/electronica/rock album loosely inspired by the Tennessee Williams play.
BROADWAY'S FUTURE SONGBOOK Will Spotlight Anessa Marie

The Broadway's Future Songbook Series - produced, directed, and hosted by John Znidarsic - continues its 2022 season on Monday, March 28th at 6PM. The free evening will spotlight the songs of acclaimed composer/lyricist Anessa Marie.
