For 7 days, Katie Workum Dance will present Anna, Darrin, David, Eleanor, jess, Katie, Leslie & Weena: The Door's Unlocked, an immersive, multi-platformed, week-long event with daily rotating performances, hybrid viewing-doing sessions, and other activated public engagements housed in Foley Gallery at 59 Orchard Street in New York, NY. Playhouse Square shines brightly today thanks to the dedication and foresight of individuals who saw the theaters as both a symbol of Cleveland's past and an inspiration for the future. To honor their efforts and further its not-for-profit mission, in 2014 Playhouse Square began to pursue its largest philanthropic effort, the $100 million Advancing the Legacy Campaign.
Ivy Baldwin Dance And Manitoga Present The Premiere Of QUARRY
On September 21 and 22, Ivy Baldwin Dance will present Quarry, a site-specific performance work at Manitoga, the former home and 75-acre woodland garden of the late American industrial designer Russel Wright. Quarry takes inspiration from Wright's desire to blur lines between outside and inside, nature and the man-made, and from his deep commitment to experimentation with form and material.

Baryshnikov Arts Center (BAC) announces the Fall 2019 season of dance, music, and multimedia presentations, running September 27 through December 6. New York Live Arts (Live Arts) to present the world premiere of Molly Lieber and Eleanor Smith's Body Comes Apart, March 6-9, 2019, having commissioned the work as part of the Live Feed Residency Program. The duo, Bessie Award nominees in choreography and Lieber recipient in outstanding performance, continue their experimental 10-year creative practice using abstraction as a means of confronting trauma. Based on a dynamic improvisational score, Body Comes Apart embraces the potentialities of bodies to challenge perceptions of female identity.

Live Arts Announces 2018-2019 Season, Including ANALOGY TRILOGY, Y, and More
Bill T. Jones, MacArthur Genius Award and National Medal of Arts awardee and Artistic Director of New York Live Arts, and Janet Wong, Associate Artistic Director, announced the New York Live Arts' 2018-2019 season today. "We look to artists to reflect, reframe, reimagine, and represent the world to us. We hope that in turn we respond with empathy and, dare we say, compassion," states Bill T. Jones. "New York Live Arts will premiere eight New York and/or world premieres this season including the much anticipated "Y" by Randjelovi?/Stryker Resident Commissioned Artist RoseAnne Spradlin," says Janet Wong. "We will also bring back Jack Ferver's highly successful 'Everything Is Imaginable,' which premiered at New York Live Arts' this past season. For the 2019 edition of the Live Ideas Festival we will look at artificial intelligence and our role in shaping the future," she adds.
