BIO

Training: Elder Conservatorium of Music, Adelaide, Australia. Eleanor gained a Bachelor of Music in classical voice performance (Hons), followed by a graduate diploma in singing from the Royal College of Music, London.

Theatre and opera include: her professional debut as Peep-Bo in The Mikado (Opera Australia), Amy March in Mark Adamos’s Little Women (Australian premiere, State Opera/State Theatre), The Wife in Elena Kats-Chernin’s Undertow (Icebreaker Productions, Hungary and Finland tours), The Queen of the Night in The Magic Flute (Co-Opera Australia, Australia, Switzerland and Germany tours) and Mrs Jenks in Aaron Copland’s The Tenderland (Mad Cow Theatre Company, Gatehouse, Arcola and Cochrane). With State Opera’s Young Artist Opera Studio Program: Princess and Nightingale in L’Enfant et les Sortilèges, Dot/Marie in the award-winning Sunday in the Park with George, Lois/Bianca in Kiss Me, Kate, Gretel in Hansel and Gretel, Tea Lady in The Station and Madame Herz in The Impresario. For Elder School of Music: Eurydice in Monteverdi’s Orfeo, Nellie Forbush in South Pacific and soloist with the Elder Chorale. She performed as The Controller from Dove’s Flight, Titania from Britten’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream and Ilia from Idomeneo in the Royal College of Music opera scenes.

Film and television include: McLeod’s Daughters, Travelling Light and Thunder Struck.
