It was Up UP and Away last night at the Eissey Campus Theatre as Jimmy Webb, one of America's most highly regarded songwriters spent an evening playing and singing his music for the Palm Beach Audience. It's always thrilling to hear the stories behind the creation of iconic music, and I was thinking as Jimmy performed his songs, I guess this it what have been like if the likes of George Gershwin and the other great composers were around to spend an evening describing the process and inspiration of creating music and lyrics.
Legends Radio and Humana Present An Evening With Burt Reynolds
Tickets are now on sale for the ONE NIGHT ONLY presentation of An Evening with Burt Reynolds sponsored by Legends Radio 100.3 FM/Dick Robinson Entertainment, LLC and Humana. This intimate opportunity to share a few hours with Jupiter's favorite son and America's favorite Bandit will be presented on Thursday, July 26, 2018 at 7:30 pm at the Eissey Campus Theatre in Palm Beach Gardens. Hollywood Legend Burt Reynolds will answer questions from the audience, speak about his career, and show film clips from some of his 200+ movies. He will also share personal insights and a few "dare to tell" escapades known only to his closest friends. Reynolds, named the top box office draw for five consecutive years by The National Association of Theatre Owners, was an Oscar nominee, a two-time Golden Globe winner, and the recipient of the People's Choice Award for six straight years.

Premiering this Fall, RJR Presents will have the distinct honor of bringing South Florida audiences some of the entertainment world's brightest talents. RJR Presents will be presenting world class artists at many of South Florida's favorite venues throughout it's inaugural season. The 2017/2018 will continue with Broadway & Concert Singer/Actress LINDA EDER on Friday, February 16 at 8pm. Additional performances will be announced shortly.

Deana Martin brought you back to those years when her dad and 'Uncle Frank' had the world on a string at Dick Robinson's Legend Radio's Gala Concert in Palm Beach Florida. It was a a spectacular concert show of 'Deana Sings Dino' celebrating her father's 100th birthday. The proud daughter brought along her 18-piece orchestra to let the fans hear what it sounded like back in the day. It's in the genes, and Deana Martin with an effervescent personality and brilliant command of a stage, vocally reminds you of all the music that still thrills millions. You even got to see some touching family home movies and legendary performance clips of Dean & Jerry. Legend Radio's event also celebrated it's 3rd birthday event and Dick Robinson is not just preserving the Great American Songbook, he's creating a whole new chapter.
26th Annual Shakespeare by the Sea to Present TAMING OF THE SHREW in Carlin Park, 7/7-17
Social class structure, deception and romance are the themes in William Shakespeare's hallmark comedy The Taming of the Shrew, and the Palm Beach Shakespeare Festival is taking it to the Kentucky Derby during its annual summertime production during Shakespeare by the Sea XXVI. The run for the roses and Katherine's heart happens this year July 7 - 10 and 14 - 17. The free, outdoor professional theater experience, presented in partnership with Palm Beach County Parks and Recreation takes the Seabreeze Amphitheatre stage in Carlin Park, Jupiter. Audience members are invited to bring their beach chair, blanket, picnic basket or enjoy food truck concessions. The gates open at 6:30 pm with performances starting at 8 pm. A $5 donation is suggested.

Atlantic Classical Orchestra to Perform Vero 25th Anniversary Celebration, 12/10
Hosted by The Vero Friends of the ACO, A 25th Anniversary Celebration will kick-off the Orchestra's 25th Concert Season in Vero Beach. Founded in 1990 by conductor laureate Andrew McMullan, the ACO baton was passed in 2004 to Grammy-nominated Maestro Stewart Robertson, who now leads the Orchestra with performances in three venues: the Waxlax Center in Vero Beach, the Lyric Theatre in Stuart, and the Eissey Campus Theatre in Palm Beach Gardens.
