Eileen Kielty (she/her) moved to NYC from Boston to attend The Ailey School's Independent Study Program under the direction of Denise Jefferson. She earned an A.A. in Dance from Dean College and a B.A. in Psychology from Lesley University (both with honors) and was the lead teaching assistant / swing for the Rockette's Educational Programs and a founding member / dancemaker of SpunkandCOmpany Dance. Eileen has been a choreographer, dance captain and swing in many collaborative, original projects including "The Blue Jar" at the Cherry Lane Theatre and "Kabarett Weimar" with Queensborough Theatre Project. She has performed in BCEFA's Broadway Bare: Strip University, in BCEFA's "Carols for the Cure" Music Video with the cast of CHICAGO and has trained under the Verdon Fosse Legacy. Eileen is currently producing new work under her venture, Kaia Evolutions, that aims to restore safety, intimacy and empowerment through mixed media by illuminating the darker parts of the human experience.
