Citadel Theatre today announced casting for its upcoming production of Lillian Hellman's THE LITTLE FOXES - the first Chicago-area production of this classic since last year's Broadway revival that earned six Tony Award nominations and two wins, including one for Cynthia Nixon as Actress in a Featured Role - Play.

Casting for Announced for LONDON ASSURANCE

City Lit Theatre Artistic Director Terry McCabe has announced the cast for the company's season finale, the British comedy London Assurance. First produced in London in 1841 at the Theatre Royal, Covent Garden, and shortly thereafter in New York City, London Assurance is considered a transitional play between the 18th century comedies of Richard Brinsley Sheridan and Oliver Goldsmith and the late 19th Century plays of Oscar Wilde. It has been one of Great Britain's most popular comedies of the standard classical repertoire and in recent decades has been performed by some of Britain's leading actors.

Douglas Post's Forty-Two Stories, a comedy set in a Lake Shore Drive high-rise condominium, will receive its world premiere full production as the third show in City Lit Theatre's 2016-17 season. The press opening will be Sunday, April 23rd at 3 pm following previews from April 14-22nd.
DEATH OF A SALESMAN Extends at Redtwist Theatre

DEATH OF A SALESMAN by Arthur Miller is directed by Steve Scott. The production has been extended through March 26, 2017. Performances run Thu, Fri, Sat at 7:30pm; Sun at 3pm.
