Palo Alto Players presents MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET
Palo Alto Players opens its 2017-18 season with the South Bay regional premiere of Million Dollar Quartet, the high voltage Broadway musical inspired by the famed recording session that brought together rock 'n' roll legends Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, and Carl Perkins for one unforgettable night of musical magic. Million Dollar Quartet is directed by Jeffrey Bracco, musically directed by Katie Coleman, and features a cast of local Bay Area actors and musicians playing instruments live on stage as their iconic characters. Dragon Theatre to Open 2nd Stages Series with TOO MUCH, TOO MUCH, TOO MANY
Written by up and coming playwright Meghan Kennedy, Too Much, Too Much, Too Many is a look at two women who are grieving the loss of a loved one. More than six months ago Rose (played by Mary Price Moore) lost her husband James (played by W. Scott Whisler) of more than 40 years. She locks herself in her bedroom and refuses to leave it. Her daughter Emma (played by Kelly Battcher) becomes her mother's caregiver and invites the local pastor (played by Felix Abador) to the house to talk to Rose.

On Saturday, March 26, over 500 business and arts leaders attended the Arts Council's 14th Annual Celebration of the Arts in Howard County & 30th Anniversary Gala at Howard Community College's Peter and Elizabeth Horowitz Visual and Performing Arts Center in Columbia.
