Ivo van Hove to Direct Stage Adaptation of THE SHINING
Director Ivo van Hove is set to work on a stage adaptation of Stephen King's The Shining, according to Forbes. Simon Stephens has been working on the script and it is believed that the play will premiere in London's West End before heading to Broadway.

FringeNYC Announces Sold Out Shows And Bestsellers
FringeNYC, the adjudicated portion of the new NEW YORK INTERNATIONAL FRINGE FESTIVAL, begins performances tomorrow, October 12, 2018. The festival will offer 80 fully staged theater and dance productions at 10 venues in Manhattan;s West Village all centered around a new FringeHUB. Patrons for all performances begin their FringeNYC experience at the FringeHUB at 685 Washington Street (corner of Charles Street) and are ushered to their venue. BWW Review: Theater Latté Da's ONCE Appears to 'Walk on Moonbeams'
To open their 2018-2019 season, Theater Latte Da presents the multi Tony Award winning musical ONCE at the Ritz Theater in Northeast Minneapolis. Adapted by Edna Walsh with worlds and lyrics written or composed by Glen Hansard and Marketa Irglova, ONCE recalls the story of a guy and girl who meet through fate for six days in Dublin, Ireland. The Girl, a Czech immigrant ready to begin a new life, intersects at a train station with an Irishmen who repairs Hoovers while pondering on abandoning his musical career. Together, in an old Dublin shop where pianos are sold, Girl plays her accompaniment to Guy's lyrics. The two indeed "make beautiful music together," while Latte Da's production keeps the musical drama and their audiencenes, as a song from the musical quotes, "walking on moonbeams."
