Ms. Anik Shooner, Chair of the Société de musique contemporaine du Québec (SMCQ) Board of Directors, announces the retirement of Artistic Director Walter Boudreau. This announcement follows a thoroughly considered decision on the part of Mr. Boudreau, who has led the institution for 33 years!

Saturday night, November 19th, Melissa Errico made her long awaited return to solo concert-ing at the newly renovated (beautifully) Joe's Pub. The venue was packed with family, friends and fans who, pretty much, went wild when she walked up onto the stage. She was accompanied by an unbelieveably expert trio of musicians led by the legendary John Oddo. The evening's music program was extremely well chosen and beautifully performed and sung. Errico's patter, storytelling and anecdotal skills were also on show, in top form and wildly entertaining.

Melissa Errico's 'Legrand Affair' was today confirmed for October 18th release on Ghostlight Records. 'Legrand Affair' is a collection of songs written by Michel Legrand, performed by Errico with a 100-piece symphony orchestra in Brussels, and produced by Phil Ramone.
