Born and raised in Spanish Harlem in New York City, Eddie Marrero has been working professionally as an Actor, Director, and Producer for a over a decade appearing in numerous theater, film, and television productions. Among his many credits include: How To Make It In America (HBO, Lipstick Jungle (NBC), Law and Order, Law & Order SVU, Third Watch, Saturday Night Live (NBC), One Life To Live (ABC), Miracle's Boys (MTV), and 100 Centre Street (A&E).
In 2005 he became the first Latino to Co-Host The Late Show with David Letterman (CBS) and in 2006 his performance in the feature film Find Me Guilty opposite Vin Deisel and Annabella Sciorra garnered him notable attention and went on to receive an Oscar Nomination as part of the Best Featured Cast in a Motion Picture.
He has worked alongside some of Hollywood's biggest names including Danny Glover, Oscar Winner Alan Arkin, and Academy Award Lifetime Achievement Recipient and Director Sidney Lumet; and has starred in several original Off Broadway World Premieres including the smash hit La Lupe: My Life, My Destiny.
He now adds Recording Artist to his list of accomplishments with the release of his 2013 Debut Album, Con Amor. Con Amor can best be described as "lush, filled with romance that not just speaks to the heart but stirs the soul." Con Amor captures the slick, cool feel of the Rat Pack Era, yet stands out on its own blending Latin Rhythms, Bolero, Rumba, Cha Cha, and Tango, to deliver its own unique sound and style.
He has produced for Grammy Award Winning Artists The Sounds of Blackness, and Dionne Warwick. He is the founder of Three Lions Stage, Inc., and studied at New York University, and The Julliard School.
