Strictly Come Dancing’s Johannes Radebe, has announced his enthusiastic support and endorsement for the acclaimed musical A Strange Loop as he joins the illustrious line-up of the biggest stars in entertainment who are co-producing the show in London including Alan Cumming, Ilana Glazer, Jennifer Hudson, Mindy Kaling and Billy Porter.
Review: RED SKY PERFORMANCE: MIIGIS: UNDERWATER PANTHER at Kennedy Center
It's a little surprising that the Red Sky Performance company of Canada is just now making its debut at the Kennedy Center for Performing Arts. The striking group of contemporary indigenous dance has been around for 22 years, performing in 21 countries and performing at two Cultural Olympiads. And the Kennedy Center, of course, has maintained a distinguished dance series over the years.

Emotive, demanding dance pairs gorgeously with booming percussion in Red Sky Performance's AF, presented by Canadian Stage. Drawing inspiration from Anishinaabe mythologies, director Sandra Laronde and choreographer Thomas Fonua (in collaboration with performers) explore the foundations of George Orwell's 'Animal Farm' through a unique lens, in many ways breaking it down to its core ideas to present them in a way that's simultaneously modern and ancient.

BWW Review: SPAMILTON, Menier Chocolate Factory
Gerard Alessandrini is not throwing away his shot. The creator of satirical revue Forbidden Broadway realised that the unprecedented success of Lin-Manuel Miranda's musical warranted a standalone show, and thus Spamilton was born. A 2016 Off-Broadway hit, the affectionate spoof now follows Hamilton over the pond.

Menier Chocolate Factory Announces Casting For The UK Premiere Of Gerard Alessandrini's SPAMILTON: AN AMERICAN PARODY
With the UK premiere of The Gronholm Method running at the Menier, Travesties running on Broadway and The Color Purple on tour in the US, the Menier Chocolate Factory today announces the cast for UK premiere of Gerard Alessandrini's Spamilton: An American Parody which opens at the theatre on 24 July, with previews from 12 July and runs until 8 September. Alessandrini directs Marc Akinfolarin, Jason Denton, Eddie Elliott, Liam Tamne and Julie Yammanee, with special guests Sophie-Louise Dann and Damian Humbley. The production renews Alessandrini's collaboration with the Menier following Forbidden Broadway which ran both at the theatre and in the West End.
