Two Senior Staff Members Leave the Festival Stage

Two senior staff members will be taking their bows and exiting the Utah Shakespeare Festival stage this fall. Jyl Shuler, long-time development director, has announced her retirement effective October 31; and Zachary Murray, general manager and recently interim executive director, is taking a new job in the Southern Utah University Budget Office beginning October 1.

Cygnet Theatre will continue its ten-year tradition of presenting a holiday show suitable for all ages. This season welcomes the return of A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens. Adapted by Sean Murray with original score by Billy Thompson, this production is a re-imagined take on the original holiday classic featuring lively music, unique puppets and live sound effects. TeenTix Executive Director to Step Down

The TeenTix Board of Directors announced today that Executive Director Holly Arsenault has decided to leave her position at the end of October 2016. Under Arsenault's direction since 2005, TeenTix has transformed from a program of Seattle Center Productions into an independent non-profit organization and a nationally recognized model for youth arts engagement, serving more than 78,000 teens. Average monthly TeenTix ticket sales have grown from 23 per month in 2005 to more than 1,100.
