BWW Interviews: Carson Kressley Talks 'Runway,' 'CHAPERONE' and More
Most people will remember Carson Kressley from television's 'Queer Eye For The Straight Guy'. He was the more outrageous of the so-called Fab Five and was the show's fashion guru. Talking to him on the phone proved that he's not exactly like that. At least not nowadays. He proved to be genial, intelligent and much more of a sweetheart than anyone would expect from his television image. He was eager to chat about his background, his stage acting and his participation in 'Broadway Takes The Runway' which takes place on October 4th.
'Dancers Over 40' Pays Tribue To Chamption 3/31
Dancers Over 40 members have worked with many choreographers, but almost none as often as the award-winning Director/Choreographer Gower Champion. On Monday, March 31st at 7:30 pm, some of the dancers and the creative talents associated with Mr. Champion, from 1951's 'Make a Wish' to his last Broadway show the smash hit musical '42nd Street' in 1980, will be represented on the stage of the St. Luke's Theater at 308 West 46th Street.

On March 31, the dancers and the creative talents associated with Director/Choreographer Gower Champion will be represented on the stage of the St. Luke's Theater at 308 West 46th Street at 7:30PM - represented from 1951's Make a Wish to his last Broadway show and the smash 42nd Street in 1980.
BC/EFA's Gypsy of the Year Celebrates Record
The 19th Annual GYPSY OF THE YEAR COMPETITION announced a total of $3,927,000 had been raised by the over 64 participating Broadway, Off-Broadway, and National Tour companies to benefit Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. This beats the previous record of $3,420,000 set in 2004.
