54 BELOW will present The Women in Theatre Project on October 19th, 2024. Based on personal interviews with prominent women in the theatre industry, this show delves into the highs and lows of the creative process, and highlights the fundamentals of what it takes to be a healthy and successful artist.
Cast Set For PRIDE AND PREJUDICE at Hartford Stage

Pearl Cleage’s Blues for an Alabama Sky, directed by Candis C. Jones (The Public Theater: shadow/land; Studio Theater: Clyde’s) is currently running at Barrington Stage Company. While I won’t go so far as to say this is a must-see, it is most certainly one that should be seen. BLUES FOR AN ALABAMA SKY represents yet another first-rate production for the award-winning theatre in downtown Pittsfield and those involved in bringing it forward for Berkshire arts enthusiasts to enjoy.
Jillian Walker's THE WHITNEY ALBUM Comes to Soho Rep This Month
Soho Rep presents the world premiere of multidisciplinary theater-maker, musician, and composer Jillian Walker's The Whitney Album. Walker's ritual performance flows between incantation, love lecture, scene, and song as it considers the labor of performance itself and honors the legacy of Whitney Houston and so many other Black women beloved, and consumed, for their art.
