Baryshnikov Arts Center presents the World Premiere of Stravinsky Reimagined, a two-act work directed and choreographed by Jennifer Weber that transforms two of Stravinsky's most iconic works, Petrushka and The Firebird, with a contemporary approach, bringing ballet and hip-hop dancers together on one stage in a celebration of storytelling through movement.
BEYOND BABEL to Return Off-Broadway This Fall
The dance theatre hit Beyond Babel will return to New York this fall to complete the final eight weeks of its original Off-Broadway run. Performances will begin again on Thursday, September 30, 2021 at The Gym at Judson (243 Thompson Street).
Live Theatre To Return To HOME In October
Live theatre will return to HOME from October with a programme including World Premieres from RashDash, David Hoyle and Robin Richards & Clara Casian. Also returning will be critically-acclaimed artists Javaad Alipoor, Sh!t Theatre and Le Gateau Chocolat, among others.
BEYOND BABEL Suspends Performances Until April
Out of an abundance of caution and concern for the safety and health of their audiences and artists, the lead producers of Beyond Babel have decided to suspend performances for the remainder of March and first week of April 2020. The critically acclaimed production will go on hiatus immediately following the 8pm performance tonight, Thursday, March 12.
