While this version of the bestseller isn’t as consistently shocking as its original material, it’s sharp, entertaining, vicious, thrilling, morbid, uncomfortable, and alarmingly irresistible. It's one for the feminists who want to be challenged and the gender-studies-TikTok-girlies who love to forensically dissect human nature. Definitely one to see.

Jason Stuart Wins Best Actor in a Comedy Series at the Indie Series Awards
JASON STUART has won Best Actor In A Comedy for the Amazon series Smothered at the Indie Series Awards last night. He thanked his co creator Mitch Hara who he co starred, co wrote and co produced the Comedy Series with. The short form series was directed by Terri Hanauer for season 1 and Carlyle King for season 2 which will be out in the fall.

BIPOC IN TYA -- a grassroots group of Black, Indigenous & People of Color theatre artists and educators who work in Theatre for Young Audiences nationwide -- collaborated to create ANTI-RACIST & ANTI-OPPRESSIVE FUTURES FOR THEATRE FOR YOUNG AUDIENCES: AN INTERACTIVE GUIDE, to be released on February 8, 2021. The project has 25 contributors and 70 signatories including Michael J. Bobbitt and Nambi E Kelly. It is published in partnership with TYA/USA, the national organization for the Theatre for Young Audiences industry.

San Francisco's 42nd Street Moon presents the Bay Area regional premiere of 2012's Tony Award-winning 'Best Musical' ONCE. Based on the 2007 motion picture written and directed by John Carney, ONCE features a book by Enda Walsh (2012 Tony Award-winner, 'Best Book of a Musical') and a score by Glen Hansard and Marketa Irglova (including the 2008 Academy Award-winning song 'Falling Slowly'). 42nd Street Moon's production of ONCE runs from June 12 - 30, 2019 and will perform at San Francisco's Gateway Theatre (215 Jackson St, San Francisco, CA 94111).
