The Wolves Begins at TheatreSquared
A 2017 finalist for the Pulitzer Prize for Drama, Sarah Delappe's critically acclaimed new play, The Wolves, takes the stage February 27 in Northwest Arkansas. A "smart, hilarious, delightful meditation on society, sex and soccer" (The Village Voice), The Wolves is "an incandescent portrait" of nine American teens (NY Times-Critics' Pick). Featuring a cast of professional actors, The Burn addresses the bullying and social media issues that many teens experience in school. Public performances for The Burn are Saturday, February 17 at 3pm and 7:30pm; Friday, February 23 at 7:30pm; Saturday, February 24 at 3pm and 7:30pm; Friday, March 2 at 7:30pm; Saturday, March 3 at 3pm and 7:30pm; and Saturday, March 10 at 3pm in the Upstairs Theatre. Weekday performances are reserved for school groups only. Pop Magic Productions and The Prop Thtr to Co-Produce An Evening of Two Plays at The Prop Thtr
The Prop Thtr has announced that it will co-produce two plays, The Days of Commune by Bertolt Brecht (transl. David Constantine), and In Sarah's Shadow: The Eleanora Duse Story, in collaboration with Pop Magic Productions this fall 2017 at The Prop Thtr, 3502 N. Elston Ave, in Chicago. The Days of Commune, directed by Stefan Brun and featuring Prop Thtr's ensemble, opens Friday, October 20.
