Canadian Stage Announces Summer Season Filled With Music
In the summer of 2021, as live performance slowly began again after a long hiatus, Canadian Stage brought the beloved High Park Amphitheatre back to life with a robust program of live theatre, music, dance, and film presented in collaboration with nineteen partner organizations and including twenty-one productions and events, engaging over 150 artists, and welcoming over 13,000 audience members – all re-connecting communities around the dream of live performance.

There's more excitement then usual behind Curtain Call Theatre's newest show, Hands On A Hardbody, a new musical comedy-drama with a score from Phish's Trey Anastasio, lyrics by Amanda Green and a book by Pulitzer-prize winner Doug Wright. Curtain Call's Hands On A Hardbody, running tonight, March 13-22 at Flagler Place in Downtown Stuart will mark the shows first production in the state, and the southeastern premiere following its Broadway run.

The all Canadian cast of War Horse, the show about a young boy who's horse is sold to the cavalry during WW1, opened last night, February 28, at the Princess of Wales Theatre in Toronto. Productions of War Horse are currently running on the West End and on Broadway and is now appearing on the big screen courtesy of Steven Spielberg.
