Doug Storm began his professional career at the age of 10 performing with Larry Kert, (Broadway's original "Tony" in West Side Story)
At 13, was under the direction of Frank Corsaro, head of the Juilliard Opera Dept., & artistic director of The Actors Studio.
He did national commercials for McDonald's & Parker Brothers.
He was a regular soloist with the St.Louis Symphony, conducted by Leonard Slatkin, recording on RCA/Victor & performing at Carnegie Hall.
After moving to NYC in his 20's, he has performed on Broadway in Les Miserables, The Scarlet Pimpernel, Dance of the Vampires, Chess for the Actors Fund, and Jekyll & Hyde. Doug has been involved with numerous developmental readings & workshops including but not limited to Disney's Tarzan, The Civil War, & Heathers.
He was Associate Producer & Assistant Director for Chess in concert at the Ford Amphitheater in Hollywood starring Matthew Morrison, Susan Egan, & Ty Taylor. And was assistant video editor for a project involving the LA Opera & Placido Domingo for the museum at the Hollywood Bowl.
Doug has also worked as a director, teacher & performance coach extensively with kids across the country, including professional child performers from Broadway's "Lion King", "Beauty & the Beast", "Ragtime", & "Les Miserables", dramatherapy with at-risk youth in Brooklyn, & children of A-list celebrities in LA.
He's been a teaching artist for countless master classes in Chicago, Princeton, Detroit, St.Louis, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, & beyond.
