BIO

Doug Shapiro is a music theatre and voice actor based in New York City. His animation work includes voicing several characters for the cast album and live production of FINDING NEMO: THE MUSICAL for Disney and his own cartoon “DougToons,” which can be found on YouTube. Doug also toured the country as the MC and principal vocalist of a 15-piece 1940’s Big Band. A proud veteran of bringing the work of great composer/lyricist teams to light, he has worked on over 35 new musicals in a year’s time. Doug has also been a company member with The Barnstormers in Tamworth, NH for 15 years, recently portraying Man in Chair in THE DROWSY CHAPERONE.
