The South Fork Natural History Museum Hosts 32nd Annual Summer Gala Benefit

On Saturday, July 31st, the South Fork Natural History Museum (SOFO), the only state-of-the-art natural history museum on the South Fork of Long Island, celebrated the marvelous eco-system and abundant bounty of the Hamptons and the Museum's 32 years of leadership in nature conservation at its 32nd Annual Summer Gala Benefit (The Journey Forward: Reconnecting Through Nature) at The South Fork Natural History Museum in Bridgehampton, NY.

The South Fork Natural History Museum, the only state-of-the-art natural history museum on the South Fork of Long Island, is pleased to announce that its 32nd Annual Summer Gala Benefit (The Journey Forward: Reconnecting Through Nature) will take place at the museum in Bridgehampton on Saturday, July 31st, 2021 to benefit SOFO's educational and environmental programs and initiatives empowering families to be responsible stewards of our planet. 
Angel Ball 2018 Is A Success In New York City!

Last night in New York, Gabrielle's Angel Foundation for Cancer Research hosted the Angel Ball 2018 which raises money for blood cancer research.  The gala, which took place at Cipriani Wall Street, honored Dottie Herman, Douglas Elliman CEO; Monte Lipman, Founder and Chairman of Republic Records, Avery Lipman, Founder and President of Republic Records; and Harvey Spevak, Executive Chairman & Managing Partner, Equinox.

In 1994, Bette Midler returned to New York after nearly 20 years in Los Angeles, and started the New York Restoration Project, a non-profit organization devoted to bringing abandoned and neglected parks, gardens, and open spaces in all five boroughs back to life. NYRP includes the beautiful New Leaf Cafe in Fort Tryon Park as part of its success, and is committed to helping restore parks and gardens devastated by Hurricane Sandy.
