Northern Stage's season continues this fall with a site-specific, dramatic walking experience of White River Junction, VT. Junction, running now through October 24, consists of three original audio stories from three era-defining years: from the filming of director D.W Griffith's iconic Way Down East in 1920 to the cultural and economic dislocations of the 1970s to the unexpected challenges of 2020, the strangest year of all.
Gustavo Dudamel To Receive 25th Annual Dorothy & Lillian Gish Prize
The Gish Prize Trust today announced that the inspired Music and Artistic Director of the Los Angeles Philharmonic, Gustavo Dudamel, has been selected to receive the 25th annual Dorothy and Lillian Gish Prize in recognition of his ongoing achievements as a conductor and an advocate for music education. Established in 1994 through the will of legendary stage and screen actress Lillian Gish, known as the First Lady of Cinema, the Dorothy and Lillian Gish Prize is one of the most prestigious honors given to artists in the United States and bears one of the largest cash awards, currently valued at approximately $250,000.
Rush Ticket Policy Will Continue Through Run SUNDAY IN THE PARK WITH GEORGE
Hot off last week's historic opening night, the producers of Sunday in the Park with George are pleased to announce the show will continue to offer a limited number of tickets $41 each, to celebrate the re-opening of Hudson Theatre as it becomes Broadway's 41st theater. All $41 tickets will be available at Hudson Theatre box office (139-141 West 44th Street) on the day of the performance when the box office opens.

Breaking: Jake Gyllenhaal Will Return to Broadway in BURN THIS at The Hudson Theatre
This winter, thirty years after it first premiered at Circle Repertory Company, producers Stacey Mindich and Jessica R. Jenen will present the first-ever Broadway revival of Lanford Wilson's acclaimed play, Burn This, directed by Tony Award winner Michael Mayer, and starring Academy Award nominee Jake Gyllenhaal. The play will re-open Ambassador Theatre Group's historic Hudson Theatre (139-141 West 44th St) on Broadway. Performances begin February 2017, with an opening night set for Monday, March 6, 2017.
Breaking News: Ambassador Theater Group Will Renovate the Hudson Theatre for Broadway
According to Variety, Broadway will be getting another theatre in the near future. The UK's Ambassador Theatre Group, which owns the recently renovated Lyric Theatre, will renovate the Hudson Theatre next. The venue, currently a part of the Millennium Hotel, will be turned back into a Broadway house. Currently used for various corporate events, the theatre hasn't been home to a Broadway show since 1968.
