TDF Celebrates 50 Years of Supporting the Arts
TDF, the not-for-profit organization dedicated to bringing the power of the performing arts to everyone, has been serving the performing arts community in New York City and beyond for 50 years. TDF opened its doors in June of 1968 and has since accomplished its mission of sustaining live theatre and dance by engaging and cultivating a broad and diverse audience and eliminating barriers to attendance. Through a variety of program and initiatives TDF expands audiences, cultivates communities and supports the theatre makers. TDF will launch its 50th Anniversary year at its June 18 gala at Gotham Hall honoring Tony Kushner and presenting its first Founders Award to James Lapine.

The Broadway at Birdland concert series was proud to present 'Show Biz After Hours With Frank DiLella,' a new talk/variety show hosted by the popular NY1 theater journalist. The first 'episode' took place on Monday, October 26, and Frank's guests included Laura Osnes and Corey Cott (the stars of THE BANDSTAND at Paper Mill Playhouse), original JERSEY BOY Daniel Reichard, Ali Stroker (one of the stars of SPRING AWAKENING) and the Tony nominated star of LEGALLY BLONDE, Orfeh. Justin Guarini and Kerry Butler to Host Times Square Tony Awards Simulcast
Clear Channel Spectacolor, a brand division of Clear Channel Outdoor (NYSE: CCO), in partnership with the Times Square Alliance and the City of New York, announced today the sixth annual simulcast of the Tony Awards on June 8th in Times Square. Clear Channel Spectacolor is Co-Producer of the 2014 simulcast and an official media partner of the 68th Annual Tony Awards. The event will be co-hosted by past Tony Award nominee Kerry Butler and singer Justin Guarini.

The American Theatre Wing's 67th Annual Tony Awards will be simulcast live in Times Square on Sunday, June 9th. The outdoor celebration of Broadway is free and open to the public, right in the heart of New York City's Theatre District.
