In a year that sees a host of events about England's first female Hollywood star, Vivien Leigh returns to the West End this summer. Following the centenary year of her birth and chiming with the new Vivien archive at the V&A, the Vivien season at the BFI and the Starring Vivien Leigh exhibition at the National Portrait Gallery, Letter To Larry brings the very essence of the celebrated actress to Jermyn Street Theatre over August after its critically acclaimed world premiere in Paris.

Following the Paris World Premiere season in 2013, and special performances celebrating Vivien Leigh's 100th anniversary, Donald Macdonald's new VIVIEN: Letter to Larry plays Jermyn Street Theatre's inaugural Matinee Seasons, in Autumn 2014, starring Susie Lindeman. The show runs 29 September - 5 November 2014 at Jermyn Street Theatre. Press performance October 1 2.30pm.

Phoenix Artistic Director Steven C. Anderson has adapted the much beloved character for the stage, and Blacklick resident Jackie Bates will undertake the role of the unconventional and adored Mrs. Piggle-Wiggle. The rest of the cast will be rounded out by Chris Storer of Columbus, Ian Short of Gahanna, Liz Wheeler of Grove City, and Michelle Schroeder of Bexley. With the exception of Mrs. Piggle-Wiggle, the all-adult cast will play multiple characters, including the roles of the badly behaved children and their beleaguered parents.
