Jefferson Performing Arts Society Announces Directors for 45th Season

Jefferson Performing Arts Society proudly announces its 45th season mainstage directors, featuring directors based in New Orleans, New York, and San Antonio. Several directors are returning to JPAS after directing or performing with JPAS in recent seasons; two make their JPAS directorial debut this season. The following overview includes shows that are part of JPAS mainstage season subscription packages, currently on sale. Single ticket sales open June 6th for all 45th season shows. Breaking: FROZEN Officially Concludes Broadway Run

The Broadway production of Frozen will not reopen as a result of the industry-wide shutdown and resulting economic fallout. The production's final performance was Wednesday evening March 11, having played 825 performances and 26 previews.

Cast Announced For DREAMGIRLS At Mill Mountain Theatre

The complete cast is set for Mill Mountain Theatre's upcoming Spring Musical: Dreamgirls, running March 25 - April 11 on the Trinkle MainStage. A dazzling journey through 20th-century American popular music, Dreamgirls follows the rising stardom of The Dreamettes, an all-girl Motown group from Chicago. Known for its 2006 feature film adaptation starring Jennifer Hudson, Dreamgirls is filled with show-stopping musical numbers from the genres of gospel, R&B, smooth pop, disco, and more.

Arendelle will soon welcome new royalty! BroadwayWorld has just learned that Ciara Renée, McKenzie Kurtz and Ryan McCartan will soon join the cast of Broadway's Frozen as Elsa, Anna, and Hans. All three will play their first performance on February 18. They take over the roles from original company members Caissie Levy and Patti Murin and Joe Carroll.

Broadway Stars Come to Bronxville To Celebrate Young at Arts

Young at Arts,  Westchester's dynamic, performing arts educational organization dedicated to helping young people expand their horizons and build character through music and drama, announce their 12th annual benefit concert on March 20, 2017 at Christ Church in Bronxville, New York. The program will welcome Broadway stars to sing along over 100 select students for a celebratory evening, exploring and performing the works of composer Alan Menken.
