LITTLE WOMEN Comes to The Hangar Theatre

The Hangar Theatre Company continues its 45th season with a reimagined take on the classic story, Little Women. This adaptation by Kate Hamill runs August 8-17 with matinee and evening performances. Kate Hamill, a Lansing native and Ithaca College alumna, is currently one of the top five most-produced playwrights in the nation. 
Hangar Theatre To Share 2018 Successes And Future Outlook At Annual Meeting

The Hangar Theatre will present 2018 successes, programming updates, and officially vote in new Board members at their Annual Meeting on March 18, 2019 at 5:00 p.m. at the theatre (801 Taughannock Blvd., Ithaca). Before Senator Elizabeth Warren, another Elizabeth spoke out, despite being warned and threatened with commitment to an insane asylum. Bridge Repertory Theater, in a co-production with Playhouse Creatures, presents Emily Mann's MRS. PACKARD, a drama inspired by true events, chronicling one woman's fight for the right to freely express her opinion, even if it differed from that of her husband. Under the direction of Emily Ranii, a cast of eighteen actors, lead by Olivia D'Ambrosio, Joseph Rodriguez, and Steven Barkhimer, stages a vivid and compelling interpretation of Mann's play.

The Hangar Theatre is happy to announce a fantastic lineup of accomplished directors and designers for its 40th Anniversary Mainstage season. While some of these artists are returning to the Hangar from past production favorites, others, including new Artistic Director Jen Waldman, will be making their Hangar debut. The roster includes many talented artists with local ties to Ithaca, including Ithaca College and Cornell University alumni.
