THE SCARLET PIMPERNEL Will Open At Theatre Royal Bath's The Egg Theatre
This Christmas, Theatre Royal Bath's the egg theatre and Pins & Needles Productions present a new adaptation of Baroness Orczy's The Scarlet Pimpernel in a comedic romp reuniting the award-winning production team behind last year's critically acclaimed production of Little Mermaid. Recently named winners of the UK Theatre Award for Best Show for Children and Young People, they will present this new production at the egg from 6 December to 13 January 2019, with opening night for press on 12 December 2018.

Following many successful years of work with their respective shows and companies, great friends Dominic Allen (Belt-Up, A Common Man) and Simon Maeder (The Jurassic Parks, Licensed To Ill) are joining forces for the first time to create a fun and frightening new physical comedy for the Edinburgh Festival Fringe about the Godfather of all modern horror: HP Lovecraft. The result is PROVIDENCE, The Shadow Over Lovecraft.

Tom Paine - a famous political author, a source of inspiration during the American War of Independence, the supporter and later prisoner of the French Revolution, and now the subject of a new one-man show. In "The Bridge That Tom Built", Dominic Allen portrays Paine from his youth in Thetford through to his death, as well as the influential figures that crossed his path, including Benjamin Franklin and Georges Jacques Danton.
