Shakespeare Project Of Chicago Will Perform THE COMEDY OF ERRORS
The Shakespeare Project of Chicago will continue its return to live, in-person performances of its namesake playwright with free theatrical readings of THE COMEDY OF ERRORS. Shakespeare's first comedy, a farce of mistaken identities, directed by Peter Garino, The Project's artistic director, runs June 15 and 17 at two Chicagoland venues.

Two years after the death of his beloved wife, Edgar Allan Poe (played by Christian Gray) grapples with love and madness in this wildly innovative theater experience. The audience will follow the ghost of Virginia Poe (played by Erica Bittner) as she stirs up memories from beyond the grave, or follow Poe himself as he winds his way from “The Telltale Heart” to “The Pit and the Pendulum.”
