BIO

Dillon Heape is a GiNGER • QUEER • ARTiST based in NYC. New York and regional credits include 1776 (directed by Frank Galati), Napoli!, A Christmas Carol (American Conservatory Theater), Milton (Berkeley Rep, The Ground Floor), Avenue Q, The Mousetrap (Santa Rosa Summer Repertory Theater), Tartuffe! (Three Day Hangover), A Midsummer Night's Dream (Mile Square Theatre), The Wild Party (A.C.T.'s Costume Shop), and The House of Bernarda Alba (Moscow Art Theater, Russia). He can be seen in national TV commercials, and he writes and produces his comedy show, TALK iS CHEAP w/ @deebobheep, on YouTube. Dillon has worked on new plays and musicals with A.C.T., Oregon Shakespeare Festival, Strange Sun Theater, Berkeley Repertory Theater, and PearlDamour. He is a member of AEA and SAG-AFTRA. Crowded Outlet Launches

 Crowded Outlet, a new not-for-profit development and producing organization committed to harnessing the creative powers of a variety of artistic voices and theatrical visions, launches in January 2016 with the first event in a planned monthly developmental series called Surge, offering theatre artists a chance to test their new ideas and dawning projects. A full production is also on the horizon, for Spring 2016.
Three Day Hangover's TARTUFFE Begins in November

THREE DAY HANGOVER - the acclaimed interactive theater company called "infectious and impressive" by The New York Times - will present a new adaptation of Moliere's classic farce from November 4 to November 21. The company recently moved into their own venue McAlpin Hall at The West Park Church (West 86th and Amsterdam Avenue) with a successful production of DRACULA, after staging several acclaimed shows in bars across the city with productions filled with drinking, drama and fun. TARTUFFE is adapted by Jack Brandman and directed by Beth Gardiner.

A.C.T. Sets Spring 2014 Repertory: OUR LADY OF 121ST STREET, THE GIRL FROM MAXIM'S & TEACH FOR AMERICA

American Conservatory Theater announced today the Spring 2014 Repertory featuring students from A.C.T.'s acclaimed Master of Fine Arts (M.F.A.) Program, as well as a coproduction featuring students from A.C.T.'s Young Conservatory (YC) Program. The three works in repertory this May are Stephen Adly Guirgis' scorching comedy, Our Lady of 121st Street; Georges Feydeau's madcap farce The Girl from Maxim's; and Rob Ackerman's hilarious and heartbreaking Teach for America. Tickets for each performance are $20 and are available online at www.act-sf.org or by calling the A.C.T. Box Office at 415.749.2228. Two and three-show packages are available.
