Cobb PARKS and the Jennie T. Anderson Theatre are presenting NEXT TO NORMAL, the first in-person concert of their 2022 season. Featuring six Atlanta actors and seven musicians, this is NEXT TO NORMAL'S first return to Atlanta in nearly ten years.

Hudson River Park Friends announced today that Diana Taylor has been approved as its new Board Chair, succeeding Michael Novogratz, who served as Chair of Friends from 2013 to 2022, and was a board member of the Hudson River Park Trust prior to that.

The Pacific Standard Time Festival: Live Art LA/LA, a celebration of performance art presented as part of the Getty-led initiative Pacific Standard Time: LA/LA, will run from January 11 through 21, 2018. Organized by REDCAT, CalArts' Center for Contemporary Arts, in collaboration with partner organizations throughout the city, the 11-day festival will feature more than 75 works by Latin American and Latino artists, performed at more than 20 indoor and outdoor spaces throughout greater Los Angeles. Supported by a major grant from the Getty Foundation, events will range from large-scale, site-specific performances to multi-artist evenings and will be presented in parks, plazas, galleries, theaters, and busy urban settings.

On Wednesday, October 19, 2016, Girl Be Heard, the girl-led global movement and theatre collective, will honor Danai Gurira and Fran Hauser with the prestigious Fairy Godmother Award at their Gotta Love Girls Gala in New York City. The award, presented annually to two women for their outstanding work as advocates for girls and women around the world, will be bestowed and celebrated among an evening of music, dancing, and theatre.
