Born June 16, 1974, to Ozzie and Lourdes Pisarri, Di Ana was a talented actor and beloved daughter, granddaughter, niece and sister. She was a graduate of Academy of Holy Angels and Penn State University. Di Ana caught the theater bug early in her life and spent her youth performing, eventually going on to earn a BFA from Penn State in Musical Theater. Going on to be a professional actor for many years. As she grew older Di Ana transitioned and dedicated her life to healing others, specifically children. Through her company, The Parent Shift, she empowered hundreds of families to love each other unconditionally and helped children excel in all aspects of their lives. Di Ana also sat on the board of Broadway Inspirational Voices and worked with them to create programs that gave artistic voice to children in vulnerable spaces. More than anything Di Ana created community. That was her superpower. Her incredible mother Lulu passed away in 2015 but Di Ana is survived by her father Ozzie, grandmother Antonia, brother Ozzie and his partner Mileyva, her partner Michael and his son Tyler, as well as thousands of acquaintances, scores of best friends, dozens of children who called her Auntie Di. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Broadway Inspirational Voices. In addition to their work as a performance choir, BIV also spearheads educational outreach programming. One such program is "Songs in the Key of ME!" where BIV connects with kids in pediatric cancer treatment to compose an original song together. They then perform it with members of the Broadway community. This program was initiated by Di Ana and a beautiful tribute to her extraordinary commitment to children and the arts.
