BIO

Deshja has been fortunate enough to be called a "working actor" and writer for the past 20 years. Her first full length play “Stuck” was performed to multiple sold-out audiences at The Robert Moss Theatre in NYC. Most recently her screenplay, “Stuck”, based on her award winning play, was chosen out of thousands to be a finalist in The Sundance Table Read My Screenplay Competition. Recent acting roles have been in the films, ”DoomsDays" (NetFlix), “The Dissection of Thanksgiving" starring Kathleen Quinlan (iTunes, Amazon & On-demand) and “The Arcadian” (released July 2018) opposite Lance Henrikson. Most recently she voiced the character of Pinkfoot in the animated series “Pinkalicious”. Her voice can also be heard in countless commercials including ALMAY and Listerine.
