Just last night, GLAAD, the nation's lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) media advocacy and anti-defamation organization, hosted GLAAD Manhattan, presented by Bravo, Ketel One and Miller 64 at the Eventi Hotel. GLAAD's annual summer event featured hors d'oeuvres, hosted cocktails, and special performances to celebrate and highlight GLAAD's work to build support for equality. GLAAD, together with FV Events, brings a Brazilian carnival-themed celebration to the middle of New York City, presented by Delta & ROKK Vodka. Over 600 guests will be on hand to support GLAAD's work to share culture-changing stories of the LGBT community with Americans. FV Events has also brought samba dancers, live percussion and carnival inspired performances.
Soren Anders To Perform At The Lucille Lortel Theatre On 4/20
Alternative Baroque-pop songwriter Soren Anders will be performing at the Lucille Lortel Theatre (121 Christopher St, NYC) on April 20, 2009 at 7:30pm. The event, benefitting the Church of St. Luke in the Fields, is hosted by Robyn Cradles and Deryck Todd, and will also feature the rock act Dandy Pants, among others. Tickets vary in price and can be purchased in advance at www.ticketcentral.com, by phone at (212) 279-4200, or by visiting the Lucille Lortel Box Office. Tickets will also be available at the door. All tickets include a post-performance buffet and champagne reception at The Church of St. Luke in The Fields.
