SCRUBS & COUGAR TOWN to Have Reunions at ATX Television Festival
ATX Television Festival has announced additional programming for year nine of the festival, which will take place June 4-7, 2020, in Austin, Texas. ATX Season 9 will include reunions for two beloved comedies from creator/director/executive producer Bill Lawrence: “Scrubs,” and “Cougar Town,” which was co-created by Kevin Biegel (“Enlisted”). Lawrence will join “Scrubs” cast members Zach Braff, Donald Faison, Sarah Chalke, John C. McGinley, Judy Reyes, Neil Flynn and Christa Miller for a reunion panel celebrating 10 years since the series finale.
Quibi Greenlights RENO 911! Season Seven from Comedy Central Productions
Beloved comedy series RENO 911! has been greenlit for a new, seventh season by Quibi, it was announced today by Quibi and producing partner Comedy Central Productions. The ensemble comedy was created by and stars Robert Ben Garant, Kerri Kenney-Silver and Thomas Lennon, all of whom are attached to write and star in the new season. Peter Principato of Artists First will executive produce the series along with Danny DeVito, Michael Shamberg and Stacey Sher of Jersey Television. Additional casting will be announced at a later date.

Comedy Central returns to the Jacob K. Javits Center at New York Comic Con with interactive activations celebrating the 23rd season of South Park and the long-waited return of Crank Yankers. Comic Con badgeholders can check out the events from Thursday, October 3 through Saturday, October 5 from 10:00am – 7:00pm and Sunday, October 6 from 10:00am – 5:00pm.
Donick Cary Signs First-Look Animation Producing Deal with Comedy Central Productions
Comedy Central today announced a first-look animation deal with Emmy-winning writer and producer Donick Cary, who will develop and produce animation projects across all platforms for the #1 brand in comedy and its new studio-production arm, Comedy Central Productions. As part of his deal, Cary will develop his own ideas, and work with other talent and creators to identify and develop animated properties for Comedy Central and other platforms.

The Paley Center for Media to Open a DRUNK HISTORY Exhibit
The Paley Center for Media in Beverly Hills will take visitors on a trip through the hilarious world of Comedy Central's wildly popular television show Drunk History, when it unveils the Museum of Drunk History.
