Ars Nova Hosts OVER/UNDER UNPLUGGED, Three Free Concerts
Ars Nova, "one of the most adventurous Off-Broadway companies" (New York Times), under the leadership of Founding Artistic Director Jason Eagan and Managing Director Renee Blinkwolt, will host Over/Under Unplugged, a free concert series following select Friday evening performances of Andrew R. Butler's Rags Parkland Sings the Songs of The Future. Concerts will feature performers from The Future and special guests performing unplugged and up close. They'll #playforchange with any donations dropped in their bucket going to select charities including the National Network of Abortion Funds, The Trevor Project, and The National Eating Disorders Association.

New Feet Productions presents ARDEN/EVERYWHERE, co-presented with Baruch Performing Arts Center (BPAC). This adaptation of Shakespeare's As You Like It is conceived and directed by Jessica Bauman. JACK Presents THE PANELS, a New Play by OBIE-Winner Rick Burkhardt
OBIE-winner Rick Burkhardt (Three Pianos, The Great Hymn of Thanksgiving) conjures an America in which the government sends its teenagers to camps to undergo rigorous education in sexual experience. The Panels is a public discussion featuring campers and counselors sharing memories and dispelling myths around this successful (some would say controversial) public health initiative. By showing us what we aren't, Burkhardt - in the great tradition of Wallace Shawn, Caryl Churchill and others - shines a light on what we are, tickling at other possibility.
Brown/Trinity Launch SuRF Theatre
This summer, Brown University and Trinity Rep launch SuRF, or their Summer Repertory Festival. It is the newest iteration of the two organizations' combined effort to support new plays in the summer. This first season, housed at Production Workshop, Brown's only student-run theatre, will feature a full production of a new version of The (curious case of the) Watson Intelligence by Madeleine George and the first workshop of The Locus by Lucy Thurber.
