BIO

Demi Remick is a YoungArts Gold Award winner in Dance, one of Dance Magazine's 2014 Top-25-To-Watch, a Presidential Scholar in the Arts nominee, a Groove master teacher & adjudicator, SUNY Purchase's Junior Dance Award Recipient and a Capezio Athlete. Demi currently tours worldwide as the tap dance soloist for Postmodern Jukebox and is a member of Caleb Teicher & Company. Demi was a member of the 'Bessie' award-winning company Dorrance Dance, 'Emmy award-winning' Jason Samuels Smith's company A.C.G.I., and Lisa La Touche's TapPhonics. She has also worked with Emma Portner & The Flock, Bill T. Jones at the Kennedy Center, and Monica Bill Barnes & Company. She is an alumnus of the Tap Program at Jacob's Pillow, San Francisco Conservatory of Dance & the Juilliard Summer Dance Program. Demi is a certified Yoga instructor and teaches/performs dance internationally. Demi received her BFA in Dance from SUNY Purchase Conservatory of Dance where she performed works by Azure Barton, José Limón, Alexandra Beller, Trisha Brown, Xan Burley and Doug Varone.
