Artistry will welcome audiences back to the Schneider Theater at the Bloomington Center for the Arts with its musical theater production of MEMPHIS, directed by theater artist extraordinaire and Twin Cities favorite Aimee K. Bryant (April 23 - May 15, 2022). Winner of the 2010 Tony Awards for Best Musical, Best Book of a Musical, Best Original Score, and Best Orchestrations (with music and lyrics by David Bryan, founding member of Bon Jovi), MEMPHIS will blast you out the door!

Porchlight Music Theatre announces the final extension of its latest production, Memphis. Memphis must close Saturday, June 16, following that evening's 8 p.m. performance. Now playing through June 16 at The Ruth Page Center for the Arts, 1016 N. Dearborn Street, features book and lyrics by Joe DiPietro and music and lyrics by David Bryan and is directed by Daryl D. Brooks, assistant directed and choreographed by Christopher Carter, music directed by Jermaine Hill and assistant choreographed by Reneisha Jenkins.

Tonight, the Suzi Bass Awards, Inc. revealed nominations for the 2014-2015 Atlanta professional theatrical season to theatre patrons and industry artists. The Suzi Nomination Party, which rotates venues, was hosted this year by Horizon Theatre. Guest announcers included the ladies of The Weird Sisters Theatre Project: Kelly Criss, Veronika Duerr, Jaclyn Hofmann, Tiffany Porter, and Megan Rose. Cast of MEMPHIS Will Join The Actors' Chapel for Haiti Benefit Concert, 2/1
The Broadway cast of MEMPHIS will join The Actors' Chapel for a Haiti benefit concert entitled 'African Saints, African Stories: An Evening of Song and Spoken Word.' The concert will feature Dr. Camille Brown, Danny Coackley, and The Amen Choir, in addition to several MEMPHIS cast members. The concert is presented by St. Malachy's - The Actors' Chapel in conjunction with The Office of Black Ministry for the NY Archdioces and will take place at St. Malachy's on February 1st at 7:00pm.
