Novato Theater Company brings on that risque array of puppets and people in the Tony Award-winning musical comedy, Avenue Q. Veteran director Carl Jordan, an SFBATCC award-winner, helms the show, with music and lyrics by Robert Lopez and Jeff Marx, and book by Jeff Whitty. Music director is Monica Norcia. Avenue Q runs October 10 through November 9 at the NTC Playhouse, 5420 Nave Drive in Novato.

Author Kodell Parker Releases NEWS FROM WANDALAND
Easter is a time to celebrate new life, the gift of forgiveness and time for families to gather engaging in fun filled holiday traditions. In News from Wandaland, a collection of short stories written by Author Kodell Parker, Parker includes "Easter Egg Hunt," a short story which reflects on the Easter holiday, its traditions, and places an emphasis on the importance of being together with family.
Midland Center for the Arts Presents RAGTIME 10/17, 10/18, & 10/24
The Midland Center for the Arts will present RAGTIME October 17, 18, and 24. RAGTIME paints a nostalgic and powerful portrait of life at the turn of the twentieth century. Produced by Music Society and Theatre Guild, and featuring a cast of 52 actors, singers and dancers from across the state of Michigan, three distinct stories illustrate history's timeless contradictions of wealth and poverty, freedom and prejudice, hope and despair, and love and hate.

In 'Nothing to Fear,' Violet finds out she's pregnant but isn't sure who the father is; Addison struggles with her own guilty conscience after her kiss with Wyatt; and Sam and Pete clash when an old friend and colleague (Grey) asks them to help him die. Meanwhile Charlotte proposes marriage to Cooper.
