Westport Country Playhouse's Board of Trustees Elects Six Members
Six new members were recently elected to the board of trustees at Westport Country Playhouse, bringing the total to 26. The new Playhouse trustees are Dave Altman of Westport, Ben Frimmer of Weston, Darnell K. Graham of Bridgeport, Rashana J. Graham of Bridgeport, Anne Keefe of Weston, and Jonathan H. Levy of Westport.
2023 Charlie Blackwell Symposium Scholarships For BIPOC Stage Managers Available
Applications are now open for stage managers of color to apply for scholarships to the Broadway Stage Management Symposium (BSMS). In partnership with Broadway Stage Managers, Narda E. Alcorn, Lisa Dawn Cave, Beverly Jenkins, Kenneth J. McGee, & Cody Renard Richard, five scholarships for stage managers of color will be awarded for the annual professional development and networking conference for stage managers.

The Stage Managers' Association Presented its Annual Del Hughes Awards for Lifetime Achievement
On Monday, September 21, 2020, the Stage Managers' Association presented its annual Del Hughes Awards for Lifetime Achievement in the Art of Stage Management in a virtual ceremony to two distinguished honourees, Philadelphia based stage manager Patreshettarlini (Pat) Adams and Chicago based stage manager Alden J. Vasquez. In addition to these Lifetime Achievement Awards, the SMA recognized Robert I. Sutherland-Cohen with The Founders Award.
