Deborah Taylor Barrera

Deborah Barrera created FireMused Productions in 2010 to develop and produce commercial theatre for Broadway and in the West End. Broadway Credits include:
Ain’t To Proud, An American Idiot, An American in Paris, La Cage Aux Folles ,with Kelsey Gramer, One ManTwo Govnor’s, with James Cordon, Sweat, Glass Menagerie with Zach Quinto and Cherry Jones, China Doll with Al Pacino, Elling ,The Heidi Chronicles with Elizabeth Moss, The Mountain Top with Samuel Jackson, and the West End productions of 1984. FMP, LLC has investments in the following Broadway Productions: Hamilton, Freestyle LoveSupreme, Front Page with Nathan Lane, Hello Dolly with Bette Midler, If / Then, with Idina Menzel and Shuffle Along. West End and National Tours with Hamilton, Aint to Proud, An American in Paris, La Cage aux Folles, and An American Idiot.
Current credits include Producer, Club Fugazi Experience with The 7 Fingers in San Francisco.

Additional Credits: Producing director for developing programs with up and coming artists, and new works. Producing director for 99 seat commercial theatre in Los Angeles. A former NEA panelist, she currently works with the Edgerton Foundation, on their grant program for new works in the US and UK. She is a member of the Broadway League, a Tony Voter and a member of the legislative council. Deborah also serves on the board for The Tectonic Theater Project and the San Francisco Ballet. FMP has received multiple Tony Awards and Nominations. She is a founding member of WIPG a group of women producers and industry professionals, created in March of 2020 in response to the shutdown of live theatre, due to the global pandemic. WIPG is a proud member of the Broadway Advocacy Coalition, in addition to having several members representing the Costume Industry Coalition leadership council.
