PETER AND THE STARCATCHER Sails To The Jersey Shore
The Gateway Playhouse hosts the Shaken Not Stirred Players this fall with a swashbuckling and hilarious show. Based on the book series by Dave Barry and Ridley Pearson, Peter and the Starcatcher gives us insight on how an orphan boy with no name becomes 'Peter Pan' and an originally two handed pirate becomes 'Captain Hook.' Starcatcher features an ensemble cast, storytelling, improvisation, wit, whimsy, subtle and not so subtle humor, timely references, and, of course, fairy dust.

The Colorado Springs Chorale proudly announces its 31st annual Deck the Hall concert at Pikes Peak Center today evening, December 8, 2017, at 7:30 p.m. The event features the Colorado Springs Chorale with a guest instrumental ensemble, and it will feature the Summit Ensemble and Pikes Peak Singers of the Colorado Springs Children's Chorale directed by Kimberley Schultz and Victoria Lipscomb respectively. Also, KCME and Jazz 93.5 FM radio personality Jana Lee Ross will read an excerpt from the beloved classic The Wind in the Willows, and large projections of illustrations by local artist/illustrator Michael Hague. Chorale Launches 61st Season with Oktoberfest and Reformers & Rebels Concert
The Colorado Springs Chorale proudly announces the launch of its 61st performance season with an Oktoberfest event on Oct. 6 from 6 to 10pm, and its fall concert entitled, REFORMERS & REBELS: Music for a Changing Tide, on Friday, October 13 at 7:30 p.m. at First United Methodist Church in downtown Colorado Springs. The concert features the Chorale and the Chamber singers with a professional orchestra in music of Bach and Monteverdi, along with popular spirituals, and contemporary selections by Ives, Whitacre and Barnett.

Four additional performances are planned before the end of the year, along with two spring outings as the organization prepares to celebrate their 60th Anniversary during the 2016 – 17 season.
