The Fresh Fruit Festival returns this spring in a special 'Return to Live Theatre' festival of plays running May 2 – 14 at The WILD PROJECT, 195 East 3rd Street, NYC.
ABC DISCOVERS: NEW YORK TALENT SHOWCASE to Take Place Today
ABC Talent and Casting will present the 2019 ABC Discovers: New York Talent Showcase, TUESDAY, SEPT. 17, at the New World Stages – Stage 2, in New York City. Part of Walt Disney Television's ongoing commitment to creating opportunities for undiscovered talent, the showcase features selected participants performing in a one-night showcase for casting directors, talent agents, managers and other industry professionals. In addition, the selected showcase actors are awarded a one-year mentorship with executives from ABC Casting. As part of the mentorship, the showcase actors will be offered on-camera workshops specifically for them to further hone their craft and auditioning skills. Talent will also have access to various ABC executives.

Harlem9 presents 48 HOUR IN HARLEM - a twist on the traditional 24- hour play festival. The inaugural event of 9 producers, bringing together 6 playwrights, 6 directors, and 18 actors to re-conceive classic plays from the African-American Diaspora. Harlem9 aims to explore the past, present, and future of black culture and our rich history of storytelling, thus serving to contribute to the re-invigoration of the Harlem community. 48 HOURS IN HARLEM's final presentation is Sunday, August 14, 2011.
