During the current pandemic, KPFK's Arts in Review, Southern California's longest-running radio showcase on live theater and cabaret, will be airing short plays, produced by local small theatres, during the month of May. This week Arts in Review airs an excerpt from IAMA Theatre Company's 10th Anniversary Season premiere of Christian Durso's Redline, directed by Eli Gonda, playing Friday, May 8 (2 to 2:30pm) over KPFK 90.7fm, home of Pacifica Radio for Southern California.

IAMA Theatre Company via @TheatreWithoutTheater has released a video clip from its West Coast premiere of Found: A New Musical, which was forced to close mid-run due to the current public health crisis. Theatre Without Theater is a nightly theatrical broadcast (via Instagram) aiming to fill the current artistic void at curtain time.

IAMA Theatre Company's latest production FOUND will be opening Thursday February 20, 2020 at the Los Angeles Theatre Center. Helmed by Moritz von Stuelpnagel, this new musical based on Davy Rothbart's popular Found Magazine, features an array of familiar Los Angeles stage talents including: Jordan Kai Burnett, Sheila Carrasco, Parvesh Cheena, Desi Dennis-Dylan, Tom DeTrinis, Zehra Fazal, Ryan W. Garcia, Mike Millan, Karla Mosley and Jonah Platt.

IAMA Theatre Company has announced three late-night dates for a special presentation of Davy Rothbart's 'Found Magazine' show, in which Rothbart shares his collection of discarded notes and letters including photos, love notes, grocery lists and other magical and mesmerizing finds. Rothbart, who created the magazine in 2001, collects any found item 'that gives a glimpse into someone else's life' from contributors around the world.

The 20th Anniversary Woodstock Film Festival wrapped up on Sunday with the Closing Night film Marriage Story, directed by Noah Baumbach. Audience ballots from more than 100 films were counted late Sunday night to determine the winners of the Audience Awards.
