Naked Angels & Arlene Hutton Among Recipients of the Access Theater Residency Program
Access Theater is thrilled to announce the theater companies and artists who have been selected for their upcoming 2017-2018 Residency program. The six theater companies to participate include: Naked Angels, Concrete Temple Theatre, Everyday Inferno, New Light Theater Project, No. 11 Productions, and Thicket & Thistle; the nine individual artists include: Joey Brenneman, Arlene Hutton, Wes Goodrich, Lisa Huberman, Steven Meeker Jr., Kyle Metzger/Dina Vovsi, Robert Siverls, and Sarah Wansley.

Vineyard Theatre's Artistic Directors, Douglas Aibel and Sarah Stern, are excited to announce a partnership with Developing Artists, a non-profit arts education organization led by Artistic Director Jill DeArmon and Executive Director Jinn S. Kim. The two organizations have partnered to expand the education initiatives of both companies and co-present Developing Artists' REBEL VERSES Youth Arts Festival, July 27-August 5, 2017 at Vineyard Theatre 108 E. 15 St. in New York City.

Agenda Theatre Collective, Kristen Adele, and New Dance Company.
Eric Bogosian Launches Kickstarter Campaign to Finish 100 MONOLOGUES Video Series
Actor/playwright Eric Bogosian just launched a Kickstarter campaign for 100monologues.com, a series of short films which feature a variety of New York-based actors performing monologues from his award-winning solo shows -- Funhouse; Drinking in America; Sex, Drugs, Rock & Roll; Pounding Nails in the Floor with My Forehead; and Wake Up and Smell the Coffee.

Barefoot Theatre Company celebrated the 2015 Vassallo Awards with a Spring Gala at the American Ballroom Theater in Manhattan. The ceremony, hosted by VH1's Ellie Lee, honored artistic achievement as well as mentorship and educational outreach to the younger generation of artists in memory of Ed Vassallo. Vassallo's career spanned 20 years and included work producing for the LAByrinth Theatre Company and volunteering with the 52nd Street Project.

The selections were made at the organization's 80th annual voting meeting, at the offices of Time Out New York in Manhattan.
