The Barrow Group to Present World Premiere of Scott Organ's 17 MINUTES
The Barrow Group, under the leadership of Co-Artistic Directors Seth Barrish and Lee Brock and Executive Director Robert Serrell, will present the world premiere 17 Minutes, a spellbinding new play by Scott Organ (Phoenix) that takes an intimate look at how gun violence reverberates across a community. Directed by Seth Barrish (Director of Mike Birbiglia's The New One), 17 Minutes is scheduled to run at The Barrow Group Mainstage Theatre (312 West 36th St) from January 10 through February 15 with an opening set for January 22.
A.R.T./New York Launches Sexual Harassment Prevention Training
The Alliance of Resident Theatres/New York (A.R.T./New York) has announced a new comprehensive, theatre-specific sexual harassment prevention training that meets New York City & State requirements for individual employees, freelance artists, and contractors. This inclusive and distinct curriculum addresses the unique conditions of working in theatre and facilitates a shift in the environmental status quo around sexual harassment by going beyond the minimum requirements for legal compliance.
QUIX Releases 'Illusions' EP and Kicks Off North American Tour

Greater Boston Theater Expo Opens Monday 8/27
On Monday, August 27th, StageSource will host the Sixth Annual Greater Boston Theater Expo. The Expo brings together over 50 theater companies to share information, schedules and offerings for the upcoming 2018-2019 theater season - and many will be offering discounts, promotions, prizes and giveaways. The Sixth Annual Greater Boston Theater Expo offers a free, convenient and efficient way in an Expo-style/marketplace setting for theater artists and audience members to check out theater productions from their favorite companies and explore new organizations. With over 50 companies spanning the Greater Boston region, individuals will be able to meet representatives and artists from the region's fringe, small, mid-sized, and large theater companies, get information about upcoming productions, and take advantage of Expo-only ticket offers and giveaways. The 2018 Expo will also feature live preview performances from some of the 2018-2019 season offerings.
Museum of Arts and Design Announces Fall Exhibitions
This fall, the Museum of Arts and Design (MAD) presents MAD Transformations, a series of six exhibitions showcasing artists who have transformed and continue to reshape the public perception of traditional craft mediums. Building upon the exhibition Voulkos: The Breakthrough Years, which celebrates the work of an artist known for drastically changing the way clay is categorized as an art material and discipline, the series considers fiber, clay, and jewelry and metals-disciplines that have composed the bedrock of MAD's founding mission and collection, and that continue to morph in the hands of contemporary artists today.

Bullets Over Broadway is written by none other than Woody Allen. It has everything that a real musical should have; speed, fan, exuberance and delightful humor. In the impressive cast of characters we see among others Helen Sjoholm, Johan Rheborg, Johan Rabaeus, Shima Niavarani, Katrin Sundberg and Andreas Nilsson. The young screenwriter David Shane played by Linus Wahlgren.
