There are movies that stick with a whole generation of kids as they grow. The Neverending Story is one of those films, and now this fantasy classic is coming to the stage in a live production at The Contemporary Theater Company with previews June 24-25 and performances July 1-30.
Syracuse Stage's 48th Season to Present its Third World Premiere
Two Tony Award-winning musicals, an American classic, a smart new comedy, a haunting new adaptation of a literary masterpiece and a world premiere are at the heart of Syracuse Stage's 48th season. Artistic director Robert Hupp said the shows in the season all in some way address ideas of home 'in all its idealized, romanticized, messy and real manifestations.'

The beloved adventure tale The Neverending Story comes to life in Jillian Keiley's eye-popping production filled with spectacle and wondrous other-worldly creatures. Previews are underway at the Avon Theatre and the production officially opens on Saturday, June 15.
Next Stage Theatre Festival Comes to Factory Theatre January 9 - 20th
Toronto's premiere winter arts celebration, the Next Stage Theatre Festival, begins this January 2019 with a stellar lineup of unique and innovative theatre. Presented by the Toronto Fringe, twelve carefully curated shows will be presented for the Festival's 12th anniversary, showcasing strong voices and well-written new plays. The festival will take place at the Factory Theatre and a site-specific venue from January 9 to 20, 2019.

Registration is Now Open for Dramatic Academy Winter
Penobscot Theatre Company has a host of programs to fire-up the imagination and combat cabin fever this winter, starting with The Neverending Story, a performance-based program for youths aged 4-15. This offering will run Tuesdays and Thursdays, January 10 through March 23, culminating in three public performances at the historic Bangor Opera House, March 24-26. Registration will close January 12. All registrants will be cast.
