Carbonell Awards Announce 120 Finalists for 2023-2024 Theater Season
Gary Schweikhart, board president of the Carbonell Awards, South Florida's Theater & Arts Honors, has announced the top six finalists in 20 competitive categories for the 2023-2024 theater season. A total of 89 professional productions at 29 theatres were evaluated by a diverse group of more than 40 judges representing all three participating counties (Broward, Miami-Dade, Palm Beach).

DARKFIELD Will Launch US Premiere in Denver in July
The Denver Center for the Performing Arts has announced Denver as the US tour launch of the multi-sensory series DARKFIELD, featuring SÉANCE, FLIGHT and COMA, from July 11 - August 11 in the city's River North (RiNo) Art District neighborhood.

Westport Country Playhouse Presents Reading Of New Comedy/Mystery BAD ACCENTS
Westport Country Playhouse will present the comedy/mystery, “Bad Accents,” the first reading in the 2023 New Works at the Playhouse Series, on Monday, April 24, at 7 p.m. The new play is written by Matthew Greene and directed by Liam Lonegan, Playhouse assistant artistic director. The audience is invited to meet the playwright and director in the lobby following the performance.
