David Owen Michaels

David Owen Michaels is a Cleveland Playwright and Composer. His most notable work is "Infamous The Musical", of which he is the Playwright, Lyricist and Composer. David also composed the music for "Murder, Center Stage", written by Playwright, Bob Abelman. David is currently serving as the Choir and Orchestra Director of St. Edward High School in Lakewood, Ohio, where he also serves as the Music Director for their shows. Previously, David served as the Theater and Orchestra Director at Cuyahoga Heights High School, a position he held since 2018. He has served as the Artistic Director for such shows as Grease, All Shook Up, The Jungle Book, Aladdin Jr, and Sound of Music. He has also served as the Music Director for several local productions including most recently, John and Jen at Western Reserve Playhouse, in Bath, Ohio. David lives in Fairview Park, Ohio with his wife Adriana and daughter, Madeline. On the weekends, David can be seen playing the piano at Guarino's restaurant in Cleveland's Little Italy neighborhood.
