Tonight, Louisville was awash with orange-the color of creativity-in celebration of the 2019 Awards in the Arts, presented by Kindred Healthcare and Joy Mangano, and hosted by The Fund for the Arts, Churchill Downs and the Lawrence Family Foundation.

BroadwayWorld has just learned that POP NATION, a theatrical social event merging music, theater and the nightclub experience, has delayed performances at Hudson (356 W. 58th Street at 9th Avenue). THe show was previously set to begin previews on November 14th with opening night set for January 8th. POP NATION has original music and lyrics by Damon Intrabartolo (bare, 'Superman Returns,' 'X Men 2') and book by Kenny Finkle (Indoor/Outdoor). A press representative has confirmed that the show will now begin in mid December because 'mounting the massive production has taken longer than expected.'
