Showtime Networks Names New Chief Financial Officer
Veteran corporate finance executive Adam Townsend will be departing Showtime Networks Inc. (SNI) at the end of the month after 12 years of combined service across Showtime Networks and CBS. Since joining SNI, Townsend has been instrumental in developing a broader financial strategy and guiding the network's growth in streaming. He has also played a key role in the integration of Showtime Networks within ViacomCBS, setting the network up for future success. He will transition the role to Michael Crotty, who has been named SNI's new Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Crotty will also have oversight of BET Networks' finance team. CBS Announces Contract Extension With Stephen Colbert
CBS announced today that the Network has reached a new contract extension with Stephen Colbert to continue as host of the top-rated THE LATE SHOW with STEPHEN COLBERT through August 2023. Colbert, who took over as host of THE LATE SHOW on Sept. 8, 2015, was originally signed through August 2020.
James Corden Extends CBS Late Night Contract Through 2022
CBS announced today that the Network has reached a new agreement with THE LATE LATE SHOW's James Corden to continue to host his acclaimed broadcast through August 2022. Corden, who received the most Emmy Award nominations of any individual performer this year, originally took over as host of CBS' late night talk and variety series on March 23, 2015.

'YOUNG SHELDON' Will Replace 'THE BIG BANG THEORY' on CBS
Variety reports that changes are on the way at CBS. Chief Creative Officer David Nevins indicated CBS would replace ”The Big Bang Theory” with its spin-off, “Young Sheldon.” He also said the company will spend more time emphasizing All Access. “The 2019 offering will be way more robust than 2018,” said Nevins, promising that “a ton more content” would be produced.
